A Wearable Salt-Ingestion Monitor

This piece describes a project aimed at producing a sensor for measuring ingested salt. For such a sensor to work, however, it has to overcome the significant local variation of salt in saliva. Another problem is that people generally don’t chew their food sufficiently to make a representative homogenate in their mouth. This might be on the right track but far from the finish line. MORE
