Consumer Data vs. Clinical Data

Those pop-up ads that come with searching the net to buy something might have value to offset being annoying. They are part of the consumer data world where artificial intelligence and machine learning are generating a new gold rush. Clinical data is the poor cousin of consumer data, yet as this piece points out, consumer behavior represents a much bigger factor of preventing premature death than all the “omics” put together.
