Photon Imaging through Deep Tissue

As an endoscopic camera is inserted into the body, scattered light diminishes the image it shows. Researchers at the University of Edinburgh, however, have developed a photon-detecting camera that can make an image through nearly 8” of tissue, which in some cases is all the way through a human body. Clinically, this means that the location of the endoscope can be seen at all times. MORE
