A Robot for Dental Implants

Dental implants involve drilling into the jaw bone and screwing in a post upon which the artificial tooth is mounted. Typically, that calls for an oral surgeon, but a new implant robot could allow a general dentist to perform this procedure. The Yomi robot, from Neocis (Miami) costs $150,000, but that is not a huge expense for many general dentistry practices. What the robot brings is a more precise outcome. MORE
