Chinese Develop Whole Genome Sequencing Liquid Biopsy Test

Healthcare ought to have a cohort of people designated as “Uber-wealthy worried well,” or “UWW.” Because, for them, Shanghai-based Cloud Health Geomics has a new product called “HealthySeq.” It is a whole-genome sequencing platform that uses fragments of nucleic acids captured in a liquid biopsy to give a health assessment of healthy people. No mention of what HealthySeq costs, but, in due course, an inexpensive RNA scan from blood could become part of an annual “physical” exam. MORE
