Surgical Robot with Internal Motor

Noting that currently available surgical robots are designed for multiple incisions, biomedical engineers at Hong Kong Polytechnic University have built a robot that relies on natural orifice entry and features micromotors, with tactile feedback, that function inside the body. While this is still in the testing stage, it appears minimally invasive surgery is becoming more minimal. MORE
