Human Stomach Tissue Regenerated from Stem Cells

Researchers at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital have grown tiny gastric organoids (one tenth of an inch in diameter) from human pluripotent stem cells. They envision such 3D, lab-grown tissue being used in both drug testing and in learning how an embryo generates organs. MORE WITH VIDEO
