Bruise Trousers

In developing sporting equipment for Paralympic athletes, a group of engineering students at Imperial College London created lycra trousers with pockets containing pressure sensors that release magenta dye when a player is hit in the legs or pelvic area. The harder the knock, the brighter the color. While this is designed for people with lower body paralysis, it could easily be adapted to dementia patients or autistic children. MORE
