Next spring, Cue (San Diego, CA) expects to begin general marketing of its “deep health tracker” which is a device incorporating a microfluidics cartridge and a sensor unit that monitors five different health conditions: inflammation (c-reactive protein), vitamin D levels, fertility (luteinizing hormone), influenza and testosterone. Each test requires a swab of nasal mucus, blood or saliva. Results are reported via Bluetooth to a smartphone (both iPhone and Android). MORE
