Panasonic Robot Bed

Pansonic’s “Resyone” robot features a wheelchair with a full body length cushion that also is half a bed mattress.  A robotic lifter raises the flattened wheelchair cushion and slides it into the bed, or in reverse order.  The idea is to make the patient’s movement from one to the other more comfortable and easier on the nurse/attendant.
