Sprint’s mHealth Accelerator
December 24, 2013 | Terry Sharrer
Earlier this year, cellular provider Sprint announced its Mobile Health Accelerator Program whereby it will solicit applications for 10 mentor-assisted development projects at Sprint’s headquarters in Kansas City. Winners, announced in January, will receive $20,000 and technical assistance in exchange for a 6% equity position in the startup firm. Dr. Bill Crounse, senior director of worldwide health for Microsoft, will be among the program’s mentors. Presumably, next year’s deadline for applications will be in early December. MORE
