Intellligent Knife
This is a second report in Tagline for an electrosurgical “I-knife” (I=intelligent) that cuts like a bipolar instrument and draws off the resulting smoke from burning tissue to be analyzed in a mass spectrometer. Dr. Zoltan Takats at Imperial College London is the inventor of this technology and in the latest test of 91 surgical patients the I knife proved 100% accuracy. MORE
