“Gene Radar” Diagnostic
November 19, 2013 | Terry Sharrer
Nanobiosym (Boston, MA) has developed a mobile device named “Gene Radar” that can identify genetic profiles of different infectious pathogens by moving a fluid such as a drop of blood, through a microfluidics nanochip. The device works without electricity, which makes it particularly useful for field work. Gene Radar has won Nokia’s Sensing X Challenge award. MORE
