Healthcare’s “Blue Light Special”

There’s no reason why the defining features of the big box stores—i.e. chain stores, cash and carry, special departments, self service, and discount pricing for high volume sales—can’t be adapted to healthcare delivery. Apparently, that has occurred to Walmart which plans to have full service primary care facilities at its rural stores in five to seven years.
