Prognostic Biomarkers for Chemotherapy

In this piece, Taiwanese cancer researchers have identified a signature of eight cancer genes that can predict the length of relapse-free time following chemotherapy. They were able to identify the relevant genes by microarray analysis in cancer cell lines after those cells were exposed to five different chemotherapy drugs. MORE
