Honda and Sekisui House Collaborating on Smart Homes

Honda is a familiar name in the American car market, but it also has been a pioneer in personal assistive robots. Now, Honda is teaming up with another Japanese company that may soon become better known in the United States, Sekisui House. Together they will develop assistive robots for smart houses, particularly so elders can remain in their own homes. Sekisui House is the world’s largest homebuilder, and now has projects underway in Virginia, Texas and Washington (state). MORE
