A doctoral student at the University of Toronto has developed a tiny ion-selective electrode sensor that sticks to the skin and detects metabolic stress via the skin’s pH. Equally impressive is the method the student used for printing the device, putting down layers of carbon fibers and insulator inks with a cap of electropolymer of aniline. MORE
