Max Planck in Florida
January 22, 2013 | Terry Sharrer
Sometime this year, construction and furnishing of the Max Planck Institute for Neuroscience will be completed in Jupiter, FL—the Institute’s first facility outside of Germany. It is located at a campus shared with the Scripps Research Institute and Florida Atlantic University; the State of Florida and the County of Palm Beach put up most of the $190m in funding. MPI researchers will focus on neural disorders, brain signaling, cortical circuits, neural plasticity and digital neuroanatomy. MORE
