Skin Patch Blood Monitor

Sano Intelligence, a start up in San Francisco, is developing a skin patch, resembling a nicotine patch, which can continuously monitor basic metabolic functions in the blood, such as glucose and potassium levels, electrolytes, and other indicators. The company expects the patch to cost one to two dollars and be worn for a week at a time. Apparently, the patch does not have data transmission while it is being worn. MORE
