Wireless Skin Patch Monitors

Researchers at the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign have developed an extremely thin, flexible and stretchable skin patch that can detect physiological data from the brain, heart and muscles, and, if they succeed a little further, will be able to transmit that information over a WiFi network. They also will study how this technology can be applied to catheters for internal monitoring. MORE
