In a paper titled “Systematic Identification of Genomic Markers of Drug Sensitivity in Cancer Cells,” a research group from the Broad Institute, Harvard Medical School and the Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research have characterized the gene expression patterns, chromosome copy numbers, and sequencing data (1,600 genes) of nearly 1,000 lines of cancer cells.
