Qualcomm has left the business of making cell phones and pursued ways for making them better. Last month, Qualcomm announced formation of “Qualcomm Life Inc,” along with a $100m Qualcomm Life Fund, to promote a cloud-based platform, “2net,” that will connect medical devices and allow the transfer, storage, and display of biometric data.
