One implication of healthcare reform is that not-for-profit “community hospitals” will demonstrate a greater mission role by keeping people “out” of the hospital.  They will do this by being more active in health strategies, just as they always have been attuned to sickness care.  This piece really sketches out a new definition of “community hospital.”            MORE
