Somnus Nightshirt by Nyx
Based on respiration variation patterns between REM sleep and deep sleep, researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital and Nyx Devices have developed a tee-shirt with embedded electronics that can be used for simple sleep assessment. REM sleep breathing is irregular, while the deep sleep pattern is regular, and light sleep is in-between. Next year, Nyx Devices hopes to make this “Somnus” shirt available for less than $100. MORE
