Siemens has combined a whole-body molecular magnetic resonance scanner and an integrated PET imager into one machine-a world’s first. This allows the MRI to generate morphological data, while the PET component shows real time functioning.  Called “Biography mMR,” this product should allow very early disease diagnosis and provide a basis for more personalized therapy.  The first machine has been installed at Munich’s Technical University Hospital in Germany.                    MORE
