IBM’s World Initiative on Health IT

IBM recently committed $100m to several initiatives over the next three years that focus on systems integration, services research, cloud computing, analytics, nanomedicine and computational biology. It plans to deploy those funds to its nine research laboratories around the world and collaborate with other businesses, governments and universities. The company expects to hire 100 doctors, nurses, engineers and social scientists to work on innovative IT. MORE
