Smart Pillbox

MedMinder Systems, Inc. (Newton, MA) has a new smart pillbox, called “Maya,” that holds 28 days of medications in single compartments, and reminds the person to take his or her pills, first with a flashing light, then a beep, later an email, and finally a phone call. The system can also alert the person’s caregiver. MORE AND VIEW A VIDEO OF THE SMART PILLBOX
