A Boston-based research group has found that one in five hospital discharges results in an adverse event requiring readmission within 30 days. But, when using a simple set of procedures, that burden could be cut by as much as one third.  The report, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, did not mention automated systems, but the opportunity is clear.    MORE
